Riad Sattouf
Riad Sattouf is a bestselling graphic novelist and film director, born in 1978. From 2004 to 2014, he created a weekly comic strip titled « The Secret Life of Youth », originally published in Charlie Hebdo.
Since 2014, he has achieved international success with major series:

- The Young Actor
- The Arab of the Future – I, Fadi, the Stolen Brother
He is also an award-winning filmmaker, directing The French Kissers (2009), for which he received the César Award for Best First Film, and Jacky in the Kingdom of Women (2014).
He is one of the rare authors to have won the Fauve d’Or for Best Album twice at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. In 2023, he received the highest distinction in the comics world, the Grand Prix of Angoulême, awarded by his peers. His work is now translated worldwide.
