Suzie Q

Julie Schalit is a graphic designer with a retro, graphic and colorful universe. She was at the origin of the wall sticker trend with her brand Les Louisettes, launched in 2005.

A fan of the 1960s, her stage name, Suzie Q, is a tribute to the 1957 hit song. She draws by hand with a fine felt-tip pen, then adds vibrant colors to give a second dimension to her patterns, generally florals but not always… The result is lively and warm.

Inspired by the 1950s/60s/70s both in design and music, she creates very contemporary patterns—perfect for table linens, bedding sets, cushions, notebooks and bags.
